Suzanne Kingston

Suzanne studied law at Durham University and qualified in 1986. She subsequently worked in Oxford for 15 years building up an extremely busy family law practice before joining Dawsons in 2001.
Suzanne is widely known for her expertise in all aspects of family work, in particular the resolution of complex financial issues for high net worth individuals. Suzanne's cases often have an international element and she has considerable experience in dealing with pre-nuptial agreements and cohabitation issues. As a member of the Children Panel, Suzanne has dealt with numerous cases involving complicated Children Act issues as well as both child abduction work and adoption. She is an accredited Resolution Mediator and has a thriving mediation practice having recently undertaken a number of referrals under the Court of a Appeal Mediation Scheme. In addition, Suzanne is a qualified Collaborative lawyer and trains collaborative law for Resolution. Suzanne is a member of
Collaborative Solutions and the
Central London Collaborative Forum. Suzanne is also a member of the
International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the
International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
Suzanne lectures extensively – most recently being a guest speaker at The Hong Kong Family Law Association in Hong Kong. Suzanne has had numerous articles published as well as being quoted extensively in various newspapers.
In Chambers 2010 Suzanne is described as "deal[ing] with big money cases in an intelligent and businesslike manner, and is much loved by her clients". In the Legal 500 2009, Suzanne was described as "very knowledgeable, team-driven and proactive in achieving results without aggravating often difficult matrimonial issues".
