Andrew Harbourne
Property
Andrew is head of the property department and of the affordable housing team. Andrew grew up in Thirsk, North Yorkshire and studied government and history at The London School of Economics (BSc Econ). After articles at Dawsons, qualifying in 1987, he spent two years at Titmus Sainer & Webb (now Decherts) in the City before rejoining us. The majority of Andrew's work is property development and construction work for housing associations, institutions, landed estates, landowners and developers. He also enjoys mainstream commercial property including substantial quantities of landlord and tenant work.
Chambers' Guide 2007 says "Clients find head of property Andrew Harbourne "accommodating and professional"" while the 2008 edition reports that he is a "responsive and proactive lawyer" and is "praised for his "ability to deal with complex issues"."
